I actually work as a sales rep, which means I'm often on the go. This smoothie is great for sticking in a cooler, or to just enjoy when you can! You can have it for breakfast or lunch. The soy protein powder is usually used as a meal replacement, so I usually have this smoothie as a meal.
I LOVE this smoothie. Blueberry and banana mixes so well together, plus the seeds of the blueberry give the smoothie a fun texture.
Blueberry Banana Protein Smoothie (approx. 230 total calories):
1/2 green banana
1/4 cup frozen blueberries
8 oz. of water
ice
2 scoops of vanilla soy protein powder (Naturade is what I use)
In a personal size blender, blend all ingredients until smooth. That simple- ENJOY!
*TIP: Always eat greener bananas when possible. They act as a resistant starch and keep you fuller for longer!
